Bon Jovi Tribute

The idea to form a Bon Jovi Tribute started a few years ago when we noticed a genuine love and affection for 80’s music among people of all ages. With the broad body of work that Bon Jovi has compiled over the years, and the many top hits from the band spanning several decades, we realized that a Bon Jovi Tribute would give us a virtually endless selection of music, spanning several decades and reaching out to many generations of music lovers. We concentrate on the first 3 albums and bring an 80’s style rock concert to our audiences for the first part of the show, and also mix in some of the 90’s to mid 2000’s era of Bon Jovi as well. We also are 100 percent live while we are playing. So, you get a real concert experience. Come and relive the magic of Bon Jovi with us!

Journey Tribute – Captured Detroit

Captured Detroit is the ultimate Journey Tribute band that faithfully recaptures the thrill that generations of Journey fans remember. They recreate and “recapture” Journey’s greatest hits that have withstood the test of time after all these years. Captured Detroit features five top metro-Detroit area professional musicians who perform all parts live—no tracks—no sequencers—100% live! They come together bringing the highest level of musicianship – paying careful attention to recreate the songs, sounds, energy, and rich harmonies that made Journey known as one of the best rock-and-roll bands of all time.

 KISS Tribute – War Machine

War Machine is a full costume and make-up, musical tribute to 1970’s rock legends KISS. We feature all the energy, smoking guitars, fire breathing, and great music of the original band. Based out of Detroit Michigan, the band has performed nationally for over 21 years. War Machine has performed all across America and Canada at Official KISS conventions and Expo’s.

Over the years, the band members have played live on stage with six of the ten original members of the KISS band lineup. We have been the opening act for over 58 National bands such as Cheap Trick, Nazareth, Rainbow, Vince Neil of Motley Crue, and Dennis DeYoung of STYX.

War Machine set several attendance records for clubs and festivals during the summer of 2016/2017 seasons. The group finished out their summer by performing with coach Tom Izzo (dressed in a KISS costume) in front of 15,000 fans at the Michigan State University Breslin Center Arena. Video of the performance went viral and was seen nationwide on ESPN Sports, Huffington Post, USA Today, and College Sports Network.

The band enjoys performing at a wide variety of venues including hotels, casinos, Hard Rock Cafe, corporate and private events, comic book/memorabilia conventions, major league sports half time shows, & opening day celebrations. We perform indoors or outdoors. We have even performed at two ‘Kiss’ theme weddings. Yes! A bride and groom in full Kiss makeup! In the summertime we specialize in outdoor festivals.

War Machine is a unique tribute act that can advertise all four members sing and play their own instruments. Unlike our competitors, we do not perform to a backing soundtrack. The band is height proportionate to the real KISS, and three of us use our natural hair and do not have to wear a wig. The band also performs with authentic costume pieces purchased at rock memorabilia auctions, period correct guitars, drums and amplifiers.

Our typical show can be up to 2 1/2 hours in length and contains hit songs from the span of KISS’ 40-year career. The show features a giant KISS illuminated sign, light up staircases, smoking guitar solo, rocket launcher guitar, fire breathing, special effects with fake blood, drum solo and bass guitar solos. We can offer limited pyro technic effects for venues which can support it. The band is not only limited to performing KISS songs. We are often requested to perform classic rock music by artists who have toured/worked with KISS over the years. We also enjoy performing songs that the females in the audience can dance to and are often rewarded with great crowd participation.

War Machine enjoys meeting their fans, and we are family and children friendly. We always do a ‘meet and greet’ and try to stay long enough so each and every person gets a photo with us in costume. We have FREE 11 x 17 posters and glow in the dark guitar picks for the children as well as adults (big kids) who would like to take something home to remember the show. Our shows DO NOT contain profanity.

War Machine can be seen on Nationally Syndicated Food Network ‘Man vs. Food’ cable TV show (Detroit Episode) and Retro Movie Channel ‘Wolfman Mac’s Horror Theatre’. War Machine has been featured in numerous newspapers, magazine, television and radio articles nationwide. Recently the band was featured in a full five-minute spot on the morning show of Detroit’s Fox 2 TV news. The band was also commended as being one of the “Top Five Live acts in Detroit” 2014 by Metro Times Magazine. The band recently filmed a pilot for the A&E channel’s new show “Tribute Artist’s”, in hopes of getting picked up as a full-on series. In 2018 the band was recommended as one of the top summer shows by the Detroit News.

Daniel Harrison and the $2 Highway

Daniel Harrison and the $2 Highway is a not-so-traditional mixture of Country, Rock, Soul and Pop band from Detroit, Michigan. Their groove laden mixture of alternative country and roots is layered with complex conga beats, entrancing guitar solos, and grooving bass lines, all driven by the deep thumping of Rich Pyle’s kick. Rounding out this unconventional group are the soulful, and sometimes haunting, lyrics generated by Daniel Harrison’s powerful, raw voice.

DH$2 has been in the music scene with various venues all over the states since 2009. Since that time, this enigmatic group has won a multitude of contests, rocked the Detroit Hoedown, the Uncle Sam Jam, the Soundboard at Motor City Casino, and has shared the stage with national favorites such as Lindsay Ell, Candlebox, Bret Michaels, Josh Gracin, Taylor Hicks, and many more. This is one band who has stood the test of time and has proven that they can captivate even the most discerning of crowds. From the first note to the last, you’ll be entertained.

Alan Turner

Not since Garth Brooks jumped off the stage and into people’s hearts has the country scene delivered such riveting entertainment as southeastern Michigan’s Alan Turner and his Steel Horse Band. His connection with his fans makes him stand out, and his rugged good looks, rich baritone vocals and the way he delivers the song to his captivated audiences has set him above the rest.

Alan found his love of music at a very young age. By six years of age, Alan’s mother, a Sunday school teacher, taught him to read music and play piano. Alan’s father, also a singer/songwriter, was a constant inspiration until his death when Alan was just ten years old.

“Shortly before his death, my father had given me Kenny Roger’s album The Gambler,” Alan explains. “I think it was the combination of my father’s musical influence and that old vinyl record of Kenny’s that led to my love of country music.”

This love is visible in Alan’s music in the way he can emotionally deliver each song and the story it tells on stage. For Alan, that love came full circle in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2010 when he and the band had the honor of meeting Kenny and being his direct opening act.

In the years that have followed, he has broken onto radio and television everywhere with his well-written and crafted songs; Bull Riding Babe (2015), Preacher Man and Me (2016), Windows and Mirrors (2017), 3 Nails (2018) and Tennessee Twister (2019). All across the USA and into Canada, Alan and the band have been thrilling crows with his distinctly high energy Renegade Country Music! With a nonstop performance schedule of over 100 plus shows a year there is no sign of him slowing down. This is a cowboy ya don’t want to miss.
