Welcome to the Center Line Festival Foundation!

The Center Line Independence Festival is a celebration of the City of Center Line and it’s independence as a chartered community.  Center Line is celebrating more than 80 years as a Michigan City that boasts its “Smalltown Lifestyle in the Heart of Metro-Detroit”.
Center Line is a traditional small town that celebrates its unique bedroom community environment where you can live, work and play in peace and harmony.  We are proud of our community’s commitment to maintaining our history and lifestyle.
This year’s event will be highlighted by daily themes:
June 23, 2017 –  from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm is “Flashback Friday” – Which will be focus on the music of the 80s & 90s with great local bands including, American Band, Boogie Dynomite  and Laughing Madmen.
June 24, 2017 – from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm is “FCA Mopar – Saddle Up Saturday” – Which will include many country themed activities and local country bands including,  Bob and Carl (classic country), Cadillac Cowboys, The Howling Baxters,  and Drew Hale Group from Traverse City.  The day with be capped off with one of the area’s best firework display, The Christian Financial Credit Union Fireworks, a 20 minute salute to our community’s and our nation’s independence.  Come early for the best seating!
June 25, 2017 – from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm is “Sunday Over Easy” – Which will highlight the easy listening sounds of Motown, jazz, and folk music by great local bands including, Taylor Taylor and Denise Davis and the Motor City Sensation
There will also be plenty of fun kids and adult activities throughout each day, including:
A 16 ride Carnival on the Memorial Football Field
Beer and Wine Tent with Big Screen TVs
Children’s Play and Activity area
Food Vendors from throughout the area
Vehicle displays presented by GM, Ford, and FCA
Monster Muriel
Interactive Theatre and Art
Adult Tournaments in Softball, Cornhole, etc.
